LHSC & Clinic Measles Policies
• LHSC will be allowing 2 adult support people during labour. Your support people must provide proof of measles immunity (preferable) or wear an N95 mask at all times.
â—¦ Proof of immunity includes a certificate showing two doses of the MMR vaccine, those born before 1970 or bloodwork results that show antibodies to the virus.
• No children, including siblings, or other family and friends will be allowed to enter.

For LHSC measles updates, see the LHSC update page.
In keeping with the new visitor policies at LHSC, we too must change our clinic policies.

• Only one adult care partner can accompany you to your appointment and must pass screening.
• We will no longer be allowing children in the clinic. In case of emergency, should you need to bring your child to your appointment, kindly remain in your vehicle and call the office to inform Desirée. Your Midwife will conduct the appointment over the phone and will come to your car for the physical assessment.
• If you are feeling unwell, we ask that you, if possible, reschedule your appointment or please wear a mask during your visit.
We understand that these changes may be inconvenient, and we apologize for any disruption they may cause. However, we believe that these measures are necessary to protect the health and safety of our clients, staff, and community. Please note that things are changing rapidly, we will do our best to keep you informed of changes.
